Christmas and New Year's have come and gone and with no documentation at all on this little blog! Computer issues, christmas sewing, travel, rest, and spending time together left blogging in the dust and I am just fine with that. There's also the fact that I find out people are actually reading this thing (I knew I shouldn't have said yes when Missy asked to link my blog on hers! ha.) and I feel slightly exposed and a little unconfident each and every time I go to start a post. 


Ahh, well. I forge ahead and we'll see what happens.

We are back. Back to normal... not quite. But back and ready to get things done around here. 

No one here anticipated what the last two weeks have brought. Way too many trips to the hospital to see people we love, lots of unexpected company, sick kids, too many hours worked, basement renos beginning which means moving, organizing, sorting, and trashing (we have WAY too much stuff!)... what we haven't seen is enough baking, cooking, playing, reading, sewing. All those things I started this blog to keep track of.  

This week though, a new leaf. 

fabric is heading to the washer to get ready for some new slings I've been imagining.

recipes are being sorted and a meal plan made.

In an effort to be realistic, I will leave it at that. Two kids dwell here with me. Enough said.
